Istanbul: The Turkish economy recorded growth of 2.5 percent during the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.

According to Emirates News Agency, data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday showed that the Turkish economy continued to expand for the 24th consecutive quarter, despite a slower pace of growth compared with some previous periods.
