Abu dhabi: The UAE Accountability Authority has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Greece’s Hellenic Court of Audit and National Transparency Authority to enhance collaboration in oversight, integrity, and anti-corruption efforts. This initiative was taken during an official visit led by Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreements aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise and strengthen joint efforts to promote transparency and curb corruption. The agreements highlight the shared commitment of the UAE and Greece to address cross-border corruption and bolster trust in public institutions.

The two MoUs highlight the strategic relationship between the UAE and Greece, which already have a history of cooperation in auditing and anti-corruption. This partnership reflects a mutual vision to effectively address global challenges.
