UAE and Indonesia Strengthen Ties: Presidents Discuss Continued Cooperation and Growth

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call today from His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, during which they discussed the continued strengthening of relations between their nations. According to Emirates News Agency, President Widodo expressed his appreciation for Sheikh Mohamed's role in elevating the UAE-Indonesia relationship to a strategic level, particularly in developmental fields. He highlighted the prosperity and growth both countries have experienced through their cooperation during his presidency, and conveyed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity in the UAE. In response, Sheikh Mohamed thanked President Widodo for his constructive efforts in enhancing bilateral relations as his second presidential term concludes. He wished President Widodo health, happiness, and success in his future endeavors. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress of their bilateral relations and looked forward to further growth in the coming years, underpinned by strong ties and shared values between the two nations.
