UAE Government Media Office Launches Media Content Guideline, Spotlights Agentic AI as Future of Government Communication

Dubai: The UAE Government Media Office launched the Government Media Content Guideline at the latest meeting of the Government Communication Network, held at the Creators HQ in Dubai. The meeting brought together Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, alongside communication directors and officials from across federal entities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the launch comes as part of the Media Office's ongoing drive to strengthen the federal government communication ecosystem, raise professional standards across entities, and equip communication teams with the tools they need to produce content that is sharper, more consistent, and more aligned with national priorities. Saeed Al Eter opened the meeting by reaffirming the UAE Government's commitment to building a communications system that moves as fast as the world around it.

He emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the future of government media, highlighting that Agentic AI will define the next chapter. It will enable the production of real-time, high-quality content at scale, allow for early intervention against misinformation, and enhance engagement with digital communities. This shift aims to make government communication more proactive, responsive, and effective.

The meeting featured a session by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, titled The UAE Model in Crisis Media Management. This session offered insights into the principles and methodologies of the UAE's communication approach during crises, emphasizing the role of government communication as a frontline tool in building public trust and managing information.

The Government Media Content Guideline provides a practical framework to elevate media content standards across federal entities. It includes strategic planning, editorial direction, content production, and distribution management, ensuring clarity and consistency with the UAE's communication identity.

Additionally, the UAE Government Media Office organized a workshop on government content for communication teams, translating the Guide's frameworks into practice. Participants engaged in developing strong narratives and crafting messages for different platforms, gaining experience with the strategic disciplines essential for effective government content.
