UAE Hosts 20th Asia/Oceania Anti-Doping Ministerial Meeting in Dubai


Dubai: The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, is set to host the 20th Asia/Oceania Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sports in Dubai under the patronage of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The event will take place over the next two days and will feature participation from senior government officials and representatives from WADA, as well as delegates from various sports and anti-doping organizations across Asia and Oceania.



According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting aims to enhance regional cooperation and facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices in safeguarding sports integrity. The UAE’s hosting of this event underscores its commitment to combating doping on both local and international fronts.



The UAE previously hosted the 17th edition of the meeting in 2022, which saw participation from 36 countries and 14 ministers. The most recent 19th edition was held in Uzbekistan, with representatives from 38 countries and sports organizations in attendance.
