Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable to Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, offering best wishes on his election as the new Pope and leader of the Catholic Church. The UAE President expressed his hopes for Pope Leo XIV’s success in promoting mutual understanding, peace, and harmony worldwide.
According to Emirates News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent similar congratulatory messages to Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost.
