UAE National Team Set to Compete in IBSF World Snooker Championships

DOHA: The UAE national snooker team is poised to make its mark at the IBSF World Snooker Championships, which commenced today in Doha, Qatar. The competition, organized by the International Billiards and Snooker Federation, will run until November 9. According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE team comprises three players: Ahmad Shehab, Mohammed Al Joaker, and Mohammed Shehab. Ahmad Shehab and Mohammed Al Joaker are slated to compete in the qualifying stage, which features 64 participants from across the globe. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shehab has been granted direct entry into the finals, set to begin on November 1, joining 48 other players who have similarly secured direct entry. The tournament format stipulates that only 16 players from the qualifying round will progress to join 32 pre-selected competitors, as determined by the International Federation. The event is expected to be a rigorous test of skill and precision for all participants, with the UAE team aiming to achieve significant results on the world st age.
