Vicenza:Benoît Cosnefroy of UAE Team Emirates-XRG secured a third-place finish at the Giro del Veneto in Italy on Wednesday. He completed the race with a robust uphill sprint to the finish line, aided by strategic support from his teammate Brandon McNulty, the reigning world champion.

According to Emirates News Agency, Italian cyclist Alessandro Covi from Jayco AlUla clinched victory in the race with a time of 33552. He was followed by Norway's Anthon Charmig of Uno-X Mobility in second place, with Cosnefroy rounding out the podium.

Cosnefroy expressed satisfaction with his performance, stating, "At the end, I am happy to close this race with a podium, but I would prefer the win. I think with a different strategy on the final climb from me, it could be possible to get the win." He also praised his team, highlighting the support from McNulty, and looked forward to their final European race on Sunday, where they aim to claim victory.
