Some major tourism destinations in Vietnam have started welcoming tourists again after hit by Typhoon Yagi, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported on Friday. Ha Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh, one of the hardest hit localities, officially resumed normal operation of tourist boats on Friday, nearly a week after being ravaged by the typhoon. Tourism activities have gradually returned to normal in Ha Long thanks to efforts by the local authorities and residents during a seven-day campaign to address the aftermaths of the typhoon.
