According to Emirates News Agency, the S and P 500 rose 0.74 percent to close at 7,538.34 points, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.12 percent to 26,121.16 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also gained 0.29 percent, ending the session at 53,053.59 points.
