World Taekwondo Cadet Championships Fujairah 2025 to Begin on May 10


Fujairah: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships Fujairah 2025 is set to commence on May 10 at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah. The championship will bring together elite teams and clubs from across the globe.



According to Emirates News Agency, the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships Fujairah 2025 is the first of its kind to be hosted in the region. The event will feature extensive participation from international players and champions, creating a competitive environment supported by professional organizations.



Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the UAE Taekwondo Federation and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for the event, stated that the championship’s launch underscores the focus on individual sports by H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. He also highlighted the ongoing support from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, which is instrumental in establishing this sporting event in Fujairah and the wider region.



Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, remarked that organizing the championship is the result of continuous efforts to enhance the sports infrastructure in Fujairah. He noted that the event will attract broad international participation and utilize the latest technologies in refereeing and organization, aligning with the UAE’s standing in global sports.



The Higher Organising Committee has confirmed that all technical and organizational preparations are complete for welcoming the participating delegations. The committee also noted that this year’s edition will benefit from extensive international media coverage and is anticipated to draw a large audience, owing to the championship’s increasing popularity.
