World’s Tallest Gold Bar Showcased at Sharjah Jewellery Exhibition

Sharjah:Visitors at the 58th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah are captivated by the world's tallest gold bar, showcased by BTC. This impressive piece holds an official Guinness World Records title.

According to Emirates News Agency, the gold bar measures 2.12 meters (6 feet 11.5 inches) and is designed to resemble a golden ruler. Visitors can engage with the display through the 'Measure Your Height in Gold' concept, standing beside the towering bar to compare their height and take photographs.

The gold bar is presented vertically on a dedicated platform featuring the exhibition's branding, accompanied by the Guinness World Records certificate. This unique display combines the value of gold with innovative design, offering an interactive experience.

BTC's participation with this record-breaking piece is part of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, held from September 30 to October 4, 2026. The exhibition features over 500 brands from 19 countries, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, and includes five international pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Singapore, and Thailand.

With a history of more than five decades, the exhibition continues to unite jewellery houses, brands, designers, and manufacturers, showcasing the latest designs in gold, diamonds, gemstones, and watches.
