ABU DHABI: Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, along with Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, attended the honouring ceremony of the Young Arab Diplomatic Leaders Programme's third cohort in Abu Dhabi. The event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, acknowledged 40 young diplomats from nine Arab nations for their participation in the program, which focuses on humanitarian diplomacy and international humanitarian work. According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony was held at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and was attended by representatives from the academy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors, Arab diplomatic missions, and international organizations. The program included specialized sessions and virtual workshops over the past weeks, aimed at equipping young diplomats with essential skills to navigate the rapidly changing global landscape. Sheikh Rashid emphasized the importance of innovative solutions and the role of young diplomats in promoting stability and solid arity. He noted that empowering youth in humanitarian diplomacy is crucial for achieving sustainable development goals. Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi highlighted the Arab Youth Centre's dedication to building youth capacities in developmental and humanitarian fields, stressing the importance of youth engagement in developmental work for a better future.
