QALQILYA: A Palestinian young man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces this evening east of the city of Qalqilia in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in a brief statement that they were informed by the General Authority for Civil Affairs about the killing of 18-year-old Tariq Ziad Dawood by Israeli army gunfire near the town of Azzoun. Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces had raided Azzun, east of Qalqilia, deploying firing gunfire and stun grenades at residents. With Dawood's murder, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has risen to 623, including 145 children and 9 women.
