AOUN MEETS HIGHER JUDICIAL COUNCIL, SAYS WILL DRAFT ECONOMIC PLAN TO BOOST PRODUCTION

Baabda Palace witnessed on Wednesday a series of judicial, political, and expatriate meetings.

In this context, President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, welcomed the President and members of the Higher Judicial Council, in presence of Minister of Justice, Salim Jreissati.

Separately, former Minister Naji al-Bustani met with the President and discussed with him the country's general developments.

Aoun also welcomed a delegation of Lebanese expatriates who shared with him a number of expatriate issues and thanked him for his constant efforts to bring them back to their homeland.

The delegation also praised the President's steadfast positions which contributed to liberating Lebanon's bordering regions with Syria from a group of terrorists.

For his part, Aoun welcomed the delegation and stressed his constant interest in Lebanese expatriates, and voiced his keenness on enabling them to return home.

"We are in the process of developing an economic plan based on encouraging production and restoring growth and stability in Lebanon," Aoun told the delegation of expatriates, stressing the importance of Lebanon's victory over terrorism.

Also, the President welcomed a delegation representing "My right for life" association, and the Editor-in-chief of "All Seasons" magazine, Nidal Chahab.
