4 Palestinians injured by Israeli fire south of Jericho

Ramallah: Four Palestinians were wounded by Israeli forces’ fire during an early Monday raid in Aqabat Jaber camp, south of the West Bank city of Jericho, according to a Palestinian source.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement that violent confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers when large numbers of occupation army troops stormed the camp, leaving four locals injured.

“The injured were transferred to the Jericho Governmental Hospital, where they were listed in fair conditions,” the PRCS added.

Also today, Israeli forces carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in various West Bank cities and occupied Jerusalem, and detained 13 Palestinians.
