The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine increased by 1.01% in June compared to May, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). Producer Price Index for locally consumed products increased by 1.18% while it decreased by 0.56% for locally exported products. The changes in PPI for June were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month: Major Activities % Change Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply + 5.51% Agriculture, forestry and fishing + 2.74% Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities - 2.56% Mining and quarrying - 0.37% Manufacturing - 0.29%
