Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, met, at his ministry office on Tuesday, with a delegation of the US Embassy in Beirut comprising Deputy Chief of Mission Amanda Pilz and Jason Smith.Talks reportedly touched on the current security situation, in addition to the means of cooperation between the ministry and the embassy.Mawlawi later met with MP Karim Kabbara, with whom he discussed an array of local affairs relevant to the city of Tripoli.
