Jordan’s, Bulgaria’s foreign ministers talk Gaza developments


Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met Sunday discussed with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maria Gabriel, Gaza developments and disastrous repercussions of the continued war, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Talks also went over efforts made to stop hostilities, ensure civilians’ protection and deliver adequate and sustainable humanitarian assistance for all regions of Gaza, as well as bilateral relations and issues of common interest according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Safadi said Israel should comply with rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and international will, which call for ending the raging war on Gaza, and the ensuing unprecedented suffering and humanitarian catastrophe in the coastal enclave.

The two ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, especially in economic, trade, tourism and cultural areas, the statement pointed out.
