ABU DHABI: Khalifa University of Science and Technology has announced a significant leap in its academic standing, securing the top position in the United Arab Emirates and the fourth spot in the Arab region according to the QS Arab Region Universities Ranking 2025. This advancement marks a three-slot jump from previous standings in the assessment, which evaluated over 246 institutions across the region. According to Emirates News Agency, Khalifa University achieved a perfect score of 100 in the categories of Papers per Faculty and International Faculty Ratio. The university also attained a score of 94.4 in Citations per Paper in the QS Arab University Rankings 2025, which utilizes ten key indicators to evaluate academic institutions. These indicators include Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ratio, Citations per Faculty, International Faculty Ratio, International Student Ratio, and International Research Network. The QS Arab University Rankings provide a comprehensive assessment of each academic institution based on its reputation among academics and employers. The rankings are designed to offer insights into the quality of education and research output in the region. Khalifa University's performance in these metrics highlights its growing influence and contribution to higher education in the Arab world. In addition to its success in the QS rankings, Khalifa University has advanced to the 201-250 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025. This international recognition further underscores the university's commitment to excellence and its rising prominence on the global academic stage.
