Islamic Resistance Launches Rocket Attack on Israeli Soldiers Near Lebanese Border

BEIRUT: Islamic Resistance fighters in Lebanon launched a rocket attack targeting Israeli soldiers near the Lebanese border, marking the second such attack in the area. The assault occurred at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Khallat al-Asaker, west of the town of Odaisseh. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued a statement affirming the attack as an act of support for Palestinians in Gaza and in solidarity with their resistance efforts. The statement emphasized that the attack was also conducted in defense of Lebanon and its people. This development highlights the ongoing tensions in the region and the potential for further escalations between Israeli forces and armed groups in Lebanon.
