Abu Dhabi to Host First MENA Bitcoin Conference in December

ABU DHABI: The Bitcoin Conference, recognized as the world's largest event dedicated to Bitcoin, is set to make its debut in the Middle East and North Africa with an inaugural event in Abu Dhabi on December 9-10, 2024. The conference will take place at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, aiming to address key topics within the rapidly expanding Bitcoin industry in the region. According to Emirates News Agency, Bitcoin MENA is a regional installment of the global conference series organized by ADNEC Group and BTC Inc., the company behind Bitcoin Magazine and the Bitcoin 2024 conference. The event will bring together leading figures in the Bitcoin sector to discuss the strategic role of the UAE as a pivotal player in the Bitcoin economy, highlighting the nation's energy resources, capital reserves, and innovative ecosystem. Prominent figures confirmed for the event include Anthony Scaramucci, former White House Director of Communications; Vishal Sacheendran, Binance's Head of Regional Markets; HRH Hereditary Prince F ilip Karadordevic of Serbia; and Dr. Marwan Ahmed Al Zarouni from the Dubai Blockchain Summit. The conference follows the success of Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville, which attracted 22,000 attendees and over 350 speakers, including U.S. Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump and MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor. Bitcoin MENA will offer attendees opportunities to engage with industry leaders and explore a dynamic expo hall blending technology and art.
