SHARJAH: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), led by its Chairman, Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, hosted a delegation from the Business School of Hong Kong University to discuss potential collaborations in educational resource development and scientific research projects. The meeting, held at the SCC headquarters, aimed to foster academic ties between the UAE and China and explore new channels for exchanging knowledge and expertise. According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, a member of the SCC and Chairperson of the Education, Culture, and Media Affairs Committee, who highlighted the significance of the visit in broadening collaborative horizons between the two entities. Dr. Al Nuaimi underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships with international educational institutions to advance education and scientific research, benefiting from shared expertise. The delegation from Hong Kong University, led by Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of the Business School, presented the school's mission and strategic objectives. Professor Cai emphasized the institution's aim to be a leading global academic entity in business and economics, focusing on providing world-class education and fostering innovative research through joint cooperation. Additional insights were provided by Sachin Tipnis, Senior Executive Director of Graduate Educational Programmes, who discussed the academic offerings of the school and their benefits for students.
