Israel Conducts Six Deadly Attacks in Gaza, Casualties Soar

GAZA CITY: The Israeli military has carried out six attacks on families in the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of 74 civilians and injuries to 130 others. The escalations have led to a significant increase in the overall death toll since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the total number of fatalities in Gaza has risen to 42,792, with a majority of the victims being women and children. In addition, approximately 100,412 individuals have sustained injuries. The ongoing hostilities have left thousands of victims trapped under rubble or scattered on roads, as rescue efforts are hindered by continuous attacks, debris, and a lack of resources such as fuel and equipment. The ability to accurately report casualty figures is compromised by the ongoing conflict, with frequent communication blackouts, fuel shortages, and damaged infrastructure complicating documentation efforts.
