ABU DHABI: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has successfully raised nearly $200 million in assets under management through the introduction of a new Fixed Maturity Portfolio (FMP), achieving record subscription levels. According to Emirates News Agency, the portfolio features the second series of FAB's conventional fixed maturity portfolio, following the successful roll-out of the first series in 2023, and includes the bank's inaugural Shari'ah-compliant FMP. These investment products cater to the diverse needs and preferences of FAB's clients, targeting professional investors with a three-year duration. The FAB MENA Plus Fixed Maturity Portfolio Series 2 offers a net yield of 5.50%, while the FAB Sukuk MENA Plus Fixed Maturity Portfolio Series 1 provides a net yield of 4.50%. The portfolios are structured to deliver high yields, with dividends paid quarterly and the option for reinvestment. Income is generated from a strategic selection of bonds and Sukuks across various regions and sectors, creating a diversifi ed fixed-income portfolio aimed at minimizing volatility and risk.
