Dubai Future Forum to Convene at Museum of the Future, Focusing on Global Challenges and Innovations

DUBAI: The Dubai Future Forum, the largest international gathering of futurists and future-focused institutions, will take place at the Museum of the Future from November 19 to 20. Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event will bring together over 2,500 experts from approximately 100 countries. This year's forum is organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and aims to address global challenges and propose strategies for the future. According to Emirates News Agency, the event will feature participation from around 100 leading international foresight institutions. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Managing Director of DFF, emphasized the forum's role in facilitating global dialogues and fostering international partnerships. The forum will focus on key themes such as Futuring Nature, Empowering Generations, Transforming Humanity, Optimising Health, and Foresight Insights, addressing sectors like energy, food, machine intelligenc e, and sustainability. The forum will host about 70 panel discussions and workshops with over 150 speakers, including government officials, CEOs, and thought leaders. Additionally, the Dubai Future Solutions initiative, overseen by H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will showcase 100 experimental projects. The event aims to position Dubai as a hub for innovation and a nurturing ground for talent. A series of workshops will follow on November 21 at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation and CodersHQ, providing insights into future planning and problem-solving methodologies. The forum continues to build on its past successes, including the establishment of the Global Future Society, a network launched in 2022 to enhance global cooperation among futurists.
