Dubai: The New Media Academy, recognized as the Middle East’s first of its kind in digital media, has announced the launch of the Economic Content Pioneers Programme. This initiative is a part of the national campaign, ‘The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World’, introduced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to fortify the UAE’s status as a leading global entrepreneurial hub.
According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign is overseen by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism in conjunction with the UAE Government Media Office. It involves the participation of the UAE Council for Entrepreneurship, alongside partners from both public and private sectors, as well as national organizations.
The Economic Content Pioneers Programme is designed to nurture the abilities of creative content creators by equipping them with the necessary tools to produce entrepreneur-focused content. It aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem that empowers both content creators and entrepreneurs, promoting innovative ventures that are pivotal to the digital economy.
In its inaugural edition, the programme will feature 50 content creators and entrepreneurs. These participants will be guided by experts and officials from leading tech firms and digital platforms as well as international investors. Scheduled to take place in Dubai from December 8th to 25th, the programme will offer extensive training on producing creative videos, mastering photography techniques, and utilizing AI for content delivery. Additional sessions will delve into digital marketing and publishing strategies.
Hussein Al Atoli, Director of New Media Academy, emphasized the importance of the Economic Content Pioneers Programme, stating that it aligns with the Academy’s mission to support young creators and entrepreneurs. The programme aspires to qualify a new generation of creative talent capable of transforming innovative ideas into successful ventures.
Al Atoli further highlighted that the initiative seeks to produce impactful content that inspires youth to confidently engage in entrepreneurship. This effort aligns with enhancing the UAE’s reputation as the startup capital of the world. The programme will prepare participants to create visual content that supports brand growth and effectively showcases products and services.
Participants will also enhance their skills in utilizing AI tools for market analysis, crafting strategic messages, and building a digital identity that reflects current trends in digital media and entrepreneurship. Moreover, the programme will create opportunities for forging future partnerships and establishing a global network connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and digital creators.
