Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) is set to launch the Expression of Interest service for eligible citizens in the Al Ain region tomorrow.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative offers suitable housing as part of ADHA’s ongoing efforts to enable informed housing decisions for citizens. The service, which began two weeks ago, will be extended to citizens in Abu Dhabi and the Al Dhafra region in November, initially targeting eligible citizens in Al Ain.
The ADHA will notify eligible citizens via SMS and the Iskan Abu Dhabi app, inviting them to select the most fitting housing project within a month of receiving the notification. The process can be completed through the Iskan Abu Dhabi application, where users can review available projects, make a selection, and confirm it using UAE Pass to sign the necessary papers.
The Authority has stated that changes to a selected project are permitted only once, urging citizens to carefully consider their decision. It highlighted the importance of collaboration among eligible relatives to choose appropriate adjacent homes within the same project, as modifying a selection may lead to losing the optimal housing option for family needs.
Among the new housing projects in Al Ain are the Al Nabbagh Residential Project, with 2,400 units set for completion in early 2028, and the Al Zahir Residential Project, featuring 1,000 units expected by late 2027. Additionally, the Al Amrah Residential Projects 1 and 2, along with the Mazyad Residential Project, are included in the government’s housing initiatives, scheduled for completion between 2028 and 2029.
The service is available to those who have applied for Housing Construction Loans, Deferred Repayment Loans, or are eligible for housing grants. It also caters to residents with pending loan applications or residential land grants, allowing them to choose from various projects per their eligibility.
ADHA reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing housing solutions that foster integrated communities. The Authority noted that the Al Ain projects align with its broader strategy to include ongoing projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra, aiming to meet citizens’ needs and improve their quality of life through suitable housing options.
