Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has ordered the release of 104 prisoners from punitive and correctional institutions in Fujairah on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
According to Emirates News Agency, the inmates, who belong to various nationalities, were selected for release based on their good conduct and behaviour. This decision underscores the Fujairah Ruler’s commitment to providing prisoners with an opportunity to start anew and to bring joy to their families during the festive occasion.
Major-General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Hamad for this decision. He expressed hope that the released prisoners would seize this opportunity to begin new lives, contribute positively to society, and continue to demonstrate good conduct.
