Abu Dhabi:The sixth aircraft under the Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge departed on Saturday, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. This departure brings the total volume of relief supplies transported by air to 450 tonnes as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
According to Wam, the operation continues to expand with the loading of relief supplies aboard the Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship. This expansion into maritime transport aims to strengthen efforts to maintain a continuous flow of aid to Gaza.
The initiative underscores the UAE's commitment, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to support the Palestinian people. The operation utilizes an integrated logistics network, with Emirati relief supplies first received in the Egyptian city of Al Arish before being transported overland into Gaza for direct distribution to affected families.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is dedicated to accelerating the humanitarian response and ensuring that aid reaches those who are most in need. The Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge effectively combines air, sea, and land transport to facilitate the delivery of essential assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.
