Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has expressed deep concern over recent developments in the region, calling for an immediate halt to the escalation. The UAE emphasized the need for restraint to prevent further violence and instability.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the UAE has stressed the importance of ensuring freedom, safety, and continuity of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting its significance to the global economy. The UAE also urged for a cessation of hostilities and a return to negotiations.

The UAE condemned the targeting of civilian infrastructure, including schools, universities, hospitals, and energy facilities, calling it a grave violation of international law. The statement reiterated that such actions are unacceptable and unjustifiable.
