Abu dhabi: The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) is set to present a range of artificial intelligence-based solutions, equestrian services, and traditional crafts at its pavilion during the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026). The event, themed "Our Heritage, Our Pride", is scheduled to take place at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 28th August to 6th September, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club.
According to Emirates News Agency, EAHS's participation aligns with its strategy to advance the Arabian horse sector and enhance services for owners and breeders, adhering to international quality standards. This effort aims to contribute to the sector's sustainability and reinforce the UAE's position as a global hub for the preservation and development of purebred Arabian horses.
At the pavilion, EAHS will present a comprehensive vision that integrates the preservation of the nation's heritage with the application of modern technologies. The pavilion will host various local and international partners, including National Feed and the Royal Stables, along with artisans specializing in handcrafted saddles.
The programme will feature an art exhibition and traditional crafts in collaboration with the General Women's Union, alongside innovative AI-based solutions for the horse sector. Daily activities will include horse-taming demonstrations and the Arabian Horse Cultural Quiz, offering cash prizes to promote national identity and preserve the UAE's cultural heritage.
Specialized workshops on saddle-making by Al Majlis and live tent pegging demonstrations by Abu Dhabi Police Cavalry will be held in the exhibition arena during weekend evenings. EAHS will also organise educational courses and lectures on strategic, administrative, and technical topics relevant to its services and the equestrian sector.
The lectures will cover topics such as EAHS's services, import and export regulations, ownership transfers, and birth registration. Additional sessions will address participants' rights in Arabian horse championships and the regulations of the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO) Disciplinary Committee, as well as procedures for preparing horses for championships and judging principles.
