Dubai Municipality Hosts Cybersecurity Week to Enhance Digital Safety Practices

Dubai:Dubai Municipality is organizing the inaugural Cybersecurity Week from October 27 to 29, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek. Key areas of focus will include cyber fraud and social engineering tactics such as phishing, fraudulent links, and impersonation attempts, providing employees with practical knowledge to identify and respond to threats.

The event will gather government entities, academic institutions, and private-sector cybersecurity experts to share expertise, best practices, and explore new developments in digital security. Participants include the UAE Cyber Security Council, Dubai Electronic Security Center, Dubai Police, Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Higher Colleges of Technology, University of Dubai, Exploit3rs Cybersecurity Academy, Moro Hub, and Help AG Middle East.

Specialized workshops will address evolving cybersecurity challenges, including risks linked to artificial intelligence, digital identity protection, and personal information security. These sessions will provide practical advice on identifying suspicious activities and securely handling information.
