Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a phone conversation with Elina Valtonen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, to discuss regional developments following recent Iranian missile attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and several other countries.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussion included a review of recent developments concerning the announcement by President Donald Trump of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The two leaders explored ways to bolster international efforts towards establishing security and sustainable peace in the region.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Valtonen also deliberated on a number of issues of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Finland.
