Abu Dhabi Media and STARZPLAY Forge Strategic Partnership for Digital Broadcasting


Abu dhabi: Abu Dhabi Media has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with STARZPLAY, marking a significant shift in the regional digital broadcasting sector. Under this agreement, all ADtv content will transition to the newly established Abu Dhabi Media Network (ADMN) section, fully integrated within the STARZPLAY application. This application is accessible on major platforms such as iOS, Android, smart TVs, and the web.



According to Emirates News Agency, this collaboration represents a transformative step aimed at reaffirming both entities’ dedication to digital innovation and offering a premium viewing experience. The content will be available free of charge and will be supported by advanced streaming technology. Beginning on 4th November 2025, users will have access to ADtv content through this new platform, while the existing ADtv application will discontinue its services on 30th November 2025.



The partnership is set to enrich the media landscape by expanding audience reach and consolidating Abu Dhabi Media’s position as a leading digital media entity. It promises to deliver innovative content that mirrors national identity while engaging new global audiences. Rashed Al Qubaisi, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Media, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership. Maaz Sheikh, CEO and Co-Founder of STARZPLAY, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that it allows STARZPLAY to offer an integrated viewing experience. This collaboration is expected to broaden the audience reach for Abu Dhabi Media’s content and programs, showcasing STARZPLAY’s commitment to working with top media organizations in the region.



Abu Dhabi Media audiences using STARZPLAY will benefit from modern technical features such as high-quality streaming, enhanced performance across devices, personalized user profiles, advanced parental controls, and smart recommendations. The platform will also provide live streaming of all Abu Dhabi Media channels and radio networks.
