Abu Dhabi Set to Host Over 1,000 Swimmers at International Championship

ABU DHABI: More than 1,000 swimmers from around the world are set to converge at the Mohammed Bin Zayed City Swimming Pool in Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi Swim For Life International Championship. The event, scheduled from December 13 to 15, will feature competitors from 50 local and international academies. According to Emirates News Agency, Humaid Al Hooti, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club, highlighted the club's efforts in enhancing its training capabilities by engaging international trainers. These efforts aim to prepare its swimmers for both local and international competitions effectively. Al Hooti expressed enthusiasm about hosting one of the year's largest aquatic events, emphasizing the opportunity for participants to demonstrate their swimming prowess. The championship promises to be a significant occasion, showcasing a mix of talent from across the globe. With participants from over 50 academies, the event will be a platform for male and female swimmers to display their skills and endurance , competing at a high level of sportsmanship and dedication.
