Abu dhabi: The ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, part of the ADNEC Group and a Modon company, has been honored with five prestigious awards at Eventex 2026, a globally recognized event that celebrates achievements in events, exhibitions, conferences, and experiential marketing. This remarkable success confirms Abu Dhabi's prominence as a leading international venue for specialized events and exhibitions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the awards won by ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi include the World's Best Sustainable Venue, acknowledging its commitment to sustainability through clean energy operations. The centre also secured the titles of World's Best Convention Centre and World's Best Exhibition Venue. Furthermore, it was recognized as the World's Best Sports Venue and World's Best Wedding Venue, showcasing its versatility and excellence in hosting a wide array of events while maintaining high standards in operations, sustainability, and customer experience.
Eventex 2026 marked its 16th edition with an impressive 1,405 entries from 58 countries. The awards were judged by a panel of 251 experts from 43 countries, including leaders from organizations such as FIFA, the Financial Times, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Salesforce, and Siemens, ensuring a rigorous evaluation process. This year's awards covered various categories, highlighting excellence and innovation in events, marketing strategies, event technology, and more.
The evaluation criteria focused on creativity, planning, execution, and effectiveness, assessing the uniqueness and impact of ideas and their execution quality. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasized that these awards reflect Abu Dhabi's strategic position as a global hub for exhibitions and conferences.
