Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development has officially rebranded itself as the “Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media,” following a strategic merger aimed at bolstering the integration of tourism, culture, and media sectors within the emirate.
According to Emirates News Agency, this rebranding underscores the vision of Ajman’s leadership to foster institutional integration across pivotal sectors. The new title reflects the consolidation of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development and the Ajman Culture and Media Department into a single entity, a move sanctioned by Law No. 2 of 2025. This law, issued by H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, and guided by directives from H.H. The department’s unified identity is designed to leverage Ajman’s distinct reputation and assets, and to improve institutional performance while promoting innovation across all sectors. The structural change is expected to advance regulatory and legislative frameworks, reinforcing Ajman’s standing as a premier destination on local, regional, and global fronts.
Furthermore, the merger aims to promote Ajman as a destination that harmonizes natural, heritage, and cultural assets, and enhances the media environment to align with digital transformations. This development aligns with Ajman Vision 2030, reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to sustainable growth and quality of life improvement.
