Caretaker Minister of Education, Abbas Al-Halabi, called on public teachers to fulfill the call of duty and respond to the demands of their students and enroll in their schools, on the eve of the start of the new academic year, which will open its doors tomorrow, Monday, saying: ‘What this sector has suffered is enough, and I call on you to continue without interruption.’Al-Halabi continued: “We are working hard to secure what will enable the professor to continue this year despite the difficult circumstances. We cannot ignore the demands of the professors that we are demanding and will come later. But currently we have been able to secure production allowances that enable them to reach their work centers.”Al-Halabi’s words came during the launching ceremony of the founding body of the Board of Trustees at Professor Mounir Abu Asali Public High School in the Al-Midan neighborhood in Zahle.
