SHARJAH: A groundbreaking surgery was successfully performed on a 66-year-old patient at Al Qassimi Hospital’s Cardiology Centre. The patient, who presented with critical narrowing and imminent myocardial infarction (heart attack), underwent a novel procedure utilising the latest Japanese coronary stents, “Nagomi.” This marks the first utilisation of these stents in the Middle East, facilitated by the innovative Makoto Intravascular Imaging System
