Al-Shualah: “Awqaf” is keen to develop their services and provide the latest technology to serve the worshipers

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Fahad Al-Shualah stressed on the need to keep pace with the global progress and the importance of using the latest technologies to serve Islam. Al-Shualah added in his statement on the occasion of launching the second version of (Mosques of Kuwait) mobile app, that Ministry of Awqaf is keen to develop their services and provide the latest technology to serve mosques and worshipers. He affirmed that this app comes to achieve the ministry's vision of global leadership in Islamic work. Pointing out that the app covers 1600 mosques all over Kuwait's governorates, and that more than 20 thousand users have installed it since its first launch, which indicates how successful is the idea of this app.

Al-Shualah also said that the app has many options and advantages, including: Mosques locations, full information about their facilities, prayer times and Qibla direction, announcement of mosques of Eid Prayers and Istisqaa [rain] prayers, notefication of closed mosques for maintenance, search tool for Khateeb name, in addition to a window to receive suggestions. He added that (Mosques of Kuwait) app is trusted by users who interact with the technical support team to make suggestions, which helped to develop the second version with more options and features.

The minister praised the technical support team and appreciated their continuous efforts to develop the application and serve users.
