du and Core42 Partner to Enhance UAE’s Fire Safety with Advanced AI Technologies

ABU DHABI: du and Core42, a G42 company specializing in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services, have formed a partnership to significantly upgrade the UAE's fire safety infrastructure. The collaboration aims to integrate 21 advanced technology features into the Hassantuk system, enhancing the nation's fire safety measures through innovative hardware and software solutions. According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership was announced at GITEX 2024, where du presented under the theme "Global collaboration to forge the future AI economy." The enhancements to the Hassantuk system include 13 hardware features like interactive touchscreens, sensors, AI-powered cameras, and eight sophisticated application functionalities. This initiative highlights the UAE's commitment to adopting smart city technologies, focusing on advancing public safety. Jasim Al Awadi, Chief ICT Officer at du, emphasized the transformative impact of this collaboration on fire safety protocols in the UAE. "We are at the b rink of a technological revolution in the way fire safety measures are implemented in the UAE. Our collaboration with Hassantuk represents a pivotal step forward in our journey to create a safer, smarter society. In partnership with Hassantuk, we will leverage the power of IoT and AI technologies to set a new standard in emergency response protocols and public safety infrastructures," Al Awadi stated. Yousef Al Harmoodi, Chief Business Development Officer at Core42 and General Manager of Hassantuk, also commented on the integration's significance.
