University of Jordan Achieves Top 10 Status in Arab World According to QS 2025 Rankings

AMMAN: The University of Jordan has achieved a significant milestone in the QS World University Rankings 2025, securing the ninth position among Arab universities and maintaining its status as the highest-ranked institution in Jordan. The university's rise in the rankings highlights its commitment to enhancing academic excellence and developing programs aligned with market demands. According to Jordan News Agency, the University of Jordan announced on Friday that it has improved its overall ranking points by four from the previous year. This achievement underscores the university's reputation as one of the leading academic institutions in the Arab world. The university also made significant progress in employment reputation, advancing two spots to secure third place among Arab universities, which positions it in the top 1 percent according to this criterion. University of Jordan President Nazir Obeidat stated that the institution's inclusion in the top 10 Arab universities confirms its role as a prominent e stablishment dedicated to providing quality education and conducting impactful scientific research. Obeidat attributed the improvement in employment reputation to the outstanding performance of university graduates in the job market. He highlighted the university's continuous efforts to align academic programs with labor market needs, incorporating key employment skills into curricula, and focusing on language, digital, soft, and profession-specific skills across its specializations.
