Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Jiangsu Explore Strategic Trade Opportunities


Dubai: Dubai Chambers recently held a meeting with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jiangsu Sub-Council (CCPIT Jiangsu) to discuss ways to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and China.



According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Wang Shanhua, Chairman of CCPIT Jiangsu and CCOIC Jiangsu. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities to enhance economic cooperation, particularly in strategic sectors that hold significant potential for deepening trade and investment partnerships.



Lootah expressed a commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with Chinese cities and provinces, including Jiangsu, emphasizing the advancement of shared interests between the business communities of the two regions. He highlighted the importance of closer private sector engagement, increased mutual investment, and high-quality partnerships as means to unlock new opportunities for bilateral trade and support the competitiveness of companies in both Dubai and China.



The meeting was part of a series of engagements organized by Dubai Chambers with various Chinese entities to bolster bilateral trade and investment cooperation. Notably, Jiangsu is recognized as the second-largest province in China by GDP, underscoring its significance as a strategic partner in these efforts.
