Dubai International Chamber Opens First Eastern Europe Office in Poland

Dubai: Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has officially inaugurated its first representative office in Eastern Europe, located in Warsaw, Poland.

According to Emirates News Agency, this strategic move underscores the chamber’s commitment to bolstering economic relations and exploring trade and investment opportunities between Dubai and Poland. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mohamed Ahmed Salem Farea Alharbi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Poland, and Michal Jaros, Secretary of State at Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, alongside senior officials and business leaders.

The new office is a significant milestone in fulfilling the objectives of the ‘Dubai Global’ initiative, which aims to establish 50 international representative offices by 2030. This initiative is designed to enhance Dubai’s status as a leading global business hub, attract foreign direct investment to the emirate, and support the ex
pansion of Dubai-based companies into 30 priority global markets.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, remarked that the new representative office in Warsaw is crucial for strengthening the partnership between Dubai and Poland and supporting the growth of bilateral economic ties. It aims to enhance connections between business communities in both regions and stimulate mutual trade and investment flows. He emphasized the chamber’s commitment to assisting Polish companies in expanding globally by leveraging Dubai’s strengths as a premier business hub.

The launch coincides with a period of notable growth in trade and economic relations between Poland and Dubai. Dubai’s non-oil trade with Poland reached AED7.2 billion in 2024, showing a 5 percent year-on-year increase. By the end of the first half of 2025, 453 Polish companies were registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, including 86 new companies that joined in the first six months of the year. These statistic
s highlight the robust bilateral ties and growing interest from the Polish business community in seizing opportunities in Dubai.

The Warsaw representative office will play a crucial role in supporting businesses in both Dubai and Poland. It will collaborate closely with the Polish business community to strengthen relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders while promoting Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global business destination. The office will also provide valuable insights into the Dubai market, offer guidance to Polish companies aiming to establish a presence in the emirate, and assist their expansion from Dubai into global markets.

Additionally, the Warsaw office will support Dubai-based companies seeking to enter the Polish market by providing access to market intelligence, identifying trade and investment opportunities, and connecting them with reliable local partners to facilitate market entry and business growth.
