EKTIFA Partners with Alpha Aviation Services to Distribute Products on Air Arabia Flights


Sharjah: The Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production Establishment “EKTIFA,” affiliated with the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with “Alpha Aviation Services,” a subsidiary of the Air Arabia Group. This agreement facilitates the distribution of EKTIFA’s products on all Air Arabia flights.



According to Emirates News Agency, the memorandum was signed by Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al-Teneiji, CEO of EKTIFA, Mark Whelan, Director of Alpha Aviation Services, and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Talieh, Executive Affairs Director at Air Arabia. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives and staff from both organizations.



Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al-Teneiji explained that under this agreement, EKTIFA will initially supply dairy products from the Maleha Farm on Air Arabia flights. The future phases of this partnership aim to include all EKTIFA products.



He elaborated that the partnership with Alpha Aviation Services is part of a strategic plan to provide EKTIFA’s organic products and to open new sales channels, which will contribute to the development of projects enhancing organic food security and public health.



Al-Tunaiji noted the high demand for EKTIFA products in retail markets, pointing out that the organization is seeking partnerships with experienced institutions to ensure wider availability and promote the culture of safe and healthy food.



He also indicated that this agreement paves the way for developing the organic food industry, targeting the highest standards of quality and health through modern technologies, aligning with the visionary goals of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.



Mark Whelan, Director of Alpha Aviation Services, emphasized that the agreement supports Sharjah’s vision for sustainable food security and underscores Air Arabia Group’s commitment to promoting local products. He added that the partnership is a strategic move to strengthen local industries while enhancing the travel experience for passengers.



Whelan also mentioned that EKTIFA’s organic products will be available on Air Arabia flights, with plans to extend offerings to airport lounges, restaurants, and other outlets in the future.
