The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has predicted a day of comparatively warm temperatures for Monday. While the elevated mountainous regions will encounter mild heat, the remaining areas should anticipate scorching conditions. Cloud coverage is expected at both medium and high altitudes, along with moderate northwesterly breezes that may intermittently strengthen in desert zones.

However, citizens are urged to exercise caution during the early morning hours due to possible reduced horizontal visibility caused by fog over mountainous terrains and plains. Furthermore, there is a heightened risk of direct exposure to prolonged sunlight during peak hours.

The JMD also advised against leaving children unattended in enclosed vehicles, while travelers are encouraged to be vigilant due to potential decreased visibility caused by dust in desert locales.

Additionally, it is strongly recommended not to store sanitizers, perfumes, or any flammable substances within parked vehicles. As a preventive measure against wildfires, residents are advised to abstain from igniting fires in forested and grassy regions.

Looking ahead, the Meteorological Department projects a minor escalation in temperatures for Tuesday. This increase is anticipated to result in hot weather across the kingdom. Cloud formations are expected to emerge at medium and high altitudes, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds.

Wednesday will uphold the prevalent hot weather conditions throughout various regions of the kingdom, and clouds will continue to grace the skies at medium and high altitudes.

A subtle drop in temperatures is projected for Thursday, so the weather is expected to be relatively hot above high mountain areas and hot across the remaining regions.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 37 and 35 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 22C or even 20C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 41C and lows of 30C.
