Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office Mohammed Omar Mahmoud, ambassador of Eritrea to Saudi Arabia.
Nahla Nasser Alanbar, private executive assistant to the chairman and Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel, executive assistant to the chairman, attended the meeting.
The talks began as the ambassador said that the purpose of his visit was to bid farewell to the prince as he has come to the end of his term as the ambassador of Eritrea to Saudi Arabia.
Prince Alwaleed and the ambassador discussed the general issues related to their respective countries and the prince’s philanthropic contribution to Africa.
The ambassador commended Prince Alwaleed on his efforts in playing a vital role in economic and social development, and referred to the prince’s local, regional and international investments, and generous contributions to people in need all over the world.
The prince wished the Ambassador all the best on his future endeavors. In 2009, Prince Alwaleed visited Eritrea pursuant to an official invitation by President Isaisas Afwerki.
