Gaza City – The conflict in the Gaza Strip has resulted in a significant increase in casualties, with the death toll now standing at 9,770 victims. This figure includes 4,800 children and 2,550 women, along with 24,808 reported injuries. The escalating situation has led to widespread international concern.

According to Jordan News Agency, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, about 70% of the casualties, both deceased and injured, are children and women. In his statement on Sunday, Dr. Qudra revealed that the ministry has received reports of 2,660 missing persons still under the rubble, including 1,270 children. He expressed grave concern over the inability to transport wounded individuals to Egyptian hospitals for medical treatment, citing a failure to establish safe corridors for the third consecutive day.

Dr. Qudra also accused Israeli forces of using the pretext of launching safe corridors as a cover for further attacks on Palestinian people. Over the past 24 hours, he reported that the Israeli military had committed 24 massacres, resulting in the death of 243 Palestinians. Additionally, he noted the severe impact on the health sector, with 175 health workers martyred, 31 ambulances destroyed, and 110 health institutions targeted during the ongoing conflict.
