Abu dhabi: MP3 International, a subsidiary of GRADEONE and a prominent Abu Dhabi-based supplier and manufacturer of defence and security products, has announced a significant agreement with Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited. Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited and a key contributor to defence and aerospace business initiatives.
According to Emirates News Agency, GRADEONE is part of the EDGE Group and is recognized for providing military hardware, pyrotechnics, ammunition, and other supplies for the UAE Armed Forces and key national entities. The contract represents a pioneering agreement for critical defence components between Emirati and Indian companies, signed by Khalifa Al Ali, CEO of MP3 International, and Neelesh Tungar, CEO of Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited will deliver large calibre 155mm barrels for howitzers to the UAE. These barrels are integral for armed forces globally, facilitating long-range, high-explosive fire support. The provision of these components is crucial for maintaining the optimal performance and durability of howitzers, thereby enhancing operational readiness and mission success.
The agreement underscores the enduring partnership between the UAE and India, targeting lucrative markets and the broader regions of Southeast Asia and MENA. It marks a significant development in strengthening the defence ecosystems of both nations, advancing technological leadership, and reinforcing the commitment to security and stability.
